INSPIRATION POINT LOOP: There will be 2 trail options, one roughly 3 miles and the other close to 6.3. Each one will have a guide. Please choose accordingly and bring light snacks and water.

Inspiration Point Loop is a 3.0 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Watonga, Oklahoma that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

National Summit Day Waiver

I acknowledge that participating in Active Media Interest / BACKPACKER Magazine’s National Summit

Day/Women’s Hiking Crew can be rigorous to a person’s physical and mental limits and carries with it the potential for death, serious injury and property loss. The risks include, but are not limited to: actions of other people, participants, volunteers, spectators, lack of hydration, weather, and/or other natural conditions. I hereby assume all of the risks of participating in this event, and acknowledge that I will participate in hiking/climbing in association with National Summit Day independently.

I acknowledge that this Accident Waiver and Release of Liability form will be used by Active Interest

Media, Backpacker Magazine, Big City Mountaineers, hike coordinators, or any sponsors of the event in

which I may participate.

In consideration of my registration and participation in this event, I hereby take full responsibility for

myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows: (A) Waive,

release, and discharge from any and all liability for my death, disability personal injury, property damage,

property theft or actions of any kind which may hereafter accrue to me or my traveling to and from this

event, the following entities: Active Interest Media, BACKPACKER Magazine, Big City Mountaineers,

any event sponsor, any hike/event coordinators, and their directors, officers, employees, volunteers,

representatives and agents, the event sponsors and event volunteers, (B) indemnify and hold harmless all

entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph from any and all liabilities or claims made by other

individuals or entities as a result of my actions during this event.

If bringing children under the age of 18, I assume 100% responsibility for their safety.

I understand that at this event or related activities I may be photographed or submit my photograph to

partners of the event. I agree to allow my photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the event holders, producers, sponsors, organizers, and/or assigns.

This contract shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under the applicable law.

This is a free event but you must be registered to attend. This will help us plan groups accordingly. All participants will be entered in for a chance to win prizes TBA.

Time will start around 530 end time will vary depending on how fast we hike the trail :)
