Quiet Miles for Introverts
About
Quiet Miles is the introvert-friendly branch of the Women’s Hiking Crew I started in 2019. Over the years, I realized I sometimes need quiet on the trail, but I don’t want to be alone. Quiet Miles is that middle ground—space to walk softly beside other women, without the pressure to perform or keep up chatter.
I’m Shannon, an introvert too. I plan clear, simple outings and share details (route, parking, mileage, terrain) ahead of time so your mind can rest. We keep groups small, move at a steady, conversational-if-you-want pace, and build in quiet overlooks. We usually start at sunrise or golden hour to avoid crowds. Safety and kindness lead the way—buddy system, Leave No Trace, and no one left behind.
If you’re looking for calm miles, genuine connection, and room to breathe—without having to be “on”—you’ll fit right in.
“In a room full of introverts, there are no introverts.” — origin unknown.
Tagline: Quiet Miles — hike softly, feel deeply.
